Wacom Bamboo is Mine. [Edited]
December 16, 2007
I came in second, and I got myself a Wacom nonetheless. Haha. Had to do it within an hour, and this was what I came up with the day before. Click on them to see a larger view, in deviantArt. Haha
Pretty much contented. I didn’t have to fork out a hefty three hundred buckeroos to get it. Santa has been kind this Christmas. I got myself a Samsung T10, equipped with a bluetooth headset, NUM shirt, and now Wacom Bamboo, like, half a year supply of hair dyes courtesy of Hoyu, and vouchers from Far East Level One. Now that’s like hell lot more awesome gifts I get than my birthday, like pathetically true?

It’s the end of year, I’m no longer working, thus I’m freaken broke. Ouh gawsh. The graphic designer who supervised me during my internship period has a collection of Trexi. This is random, but I’m thinking of having a collection of vinyl toys, Trexi, Bearbrick, Tofu etc. That is, after I do a complete revamp of my room. Well let’s see; zen-ish tatami style? Modern minimalist look? Or loud flashy pop art feel? I’m soo loving pop art right now. It’s that kinda art, that’s awesomely unique, loud, and it will like just make you go, “oh.. wow”. Haha. It’s wacky; those striking extravagant colors.
It’s been a satisfying month I guess? Seeing the magazine going to print, then distributing them across the campus, and people reading it. It’s fucking lots of hard work, I can say that. I was like mentally poking this homosapien to death who was like talking to me about the magazine, giving that fucken arrogant face while saying “I saw the magazine, it was.. (and it ends there)”. I was like omg, the least u can say after all the shits I’ve to go through, is just to keep your freaken mouth shut and not giving me that kind of comments, on the launch day, right when I’m relieved everything’s all done.
See, the thing is, sometimes you gotta learn when to be spontaneously speaking the truth, and when not to. It’s easy to just open your mouth and blabber about things, rather than doing it. And sometimes, you’re overdoing it to a point that it really irritates the hell out of people? You don’t need to know everything to impress people. You’re not necessarily right, cuz face it, sometimes you’re not speaking from your own experiences, and that there’s a possibility that the person you’re talking to, knows better than you. You gotta learn that, dude.
Urgh. I just activated a bitch fit. Fark. Will not go on further.
Anyway, thanks Faddy for that flattering comment. =) hearts you. but i think i could have done something better, given a longer period of time. Haha.. I photomanipulate things now. haha.

Singapore 2010
December 11, 2007
Know nuts about Singapore 2010? Okay, I thought I’m the one who’s not been in the know of things like this. The SEA Games going on right now, wooh, and now it seems everyone’s talking about Singapore’s standing in the games.
Well anyways, about Singapore 2010.
Singapore is one of the candidate city for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games. We’re already shortlisted as the top 5 countries who will be vying for the chance to host the first Youth Olympic Games in 2010 and guess what, the recent update shows that we are second behind Moscow. Just SECOND. And this means that we have a high chance of hosting YOG 2010.
Won’t we feel proud about having Youth Olympic right here in Singapore, in 2010? Support the bid.

Me off to an awesome bbq cookout like no other! The email written got me salivating already. Picture this, dozens of oysters on a bed of ice, salmon bbq-ed to perfection, squids, prawns and seafood galore, chicken in all styles. A 3 tier chocolate fountain. And it doesn’t end there. Like OMG. Freaking yummay.
And all you can do is drool while I have a fantabulous bbq cookout with the Makan Kaki bloggers. Meanwhile, just a news flash.

A suspicious article has been found loitering around Raffles City for no apparent reason. If seen, DO NOT approach her. For she bites.
Ciao ciao.
Max Loves Bus Rides.
November 10, 2007

Used MaxMobile modem during: Bus service 174 from Holland Road to Boon Lay interchange.
Any disconnections: Nope.
I’m loving this compact portable modem thingies. At the size of your iPod, you could just connect them to your laptop and access internet connection anywhere, everywhere. I still can’t figure out why I can’t access my Hotmail while using them though while other email service like gmail can still be accessed. It’s great to have it with me as I’m usually out carrying my laptop wherever I go.
SMRT yo.

I’ve brought Max along to take the train with me and Nec. Boy do Max still serve me well enough. I was on the train traveling from home to school, and Max accompanied me with his internet connectivity. Woots!
I’m one of those that’s like constantly on the go (haha right) and one who commutes by train most of the time. Often the times you’ll see tons of commuters being so engrossed in playing with their toys, be it PSP, DS or just listening to their MP3. Now that I’ve got Max, life would be so much bigger in fun in a sense that I can use Nec when I’m in train, surfing the net, bloghopping and whatnots!
Now say after me, Cool or whattttttt. Read the rest of this entry »
News Just Keep Getting Better.

“… As expected, she parrots the tired conservative rhetoric about the dangers of homosexual sex and culture, painting it as dirty and harmful. She tried to appeal to the emotional side of her audience, first by lucid details of anal sex which she amounts to ‘poking a straw up your nose,’ and then by mentioning all the negative name–calling… “
Poking a straw up your nose?? Politicians nowsadays.
A RippleVoxer is Me!
October 25, 2007
Thanks to Ripplevox, I’m now trying out Starhub’s MaxMobile for.. Freeeeeee. Yesss.. Fwreeeee.
Oh come on, who would resist freebies right.. I’m sure we Singaporeans wouldn’t. Haha.
I’m now at Parco Bugis Junction just killing time before meeting my friends for some ZO Card Anniversary Party at the Forbidden City. So, my itchy hands got me into trying this cool new ish out. I’ll save on the technicalities for some other people to talk about it. But for now I’m on a mission. It’s just me, my lappie, and my MaxMobile.
I shall bring them on a journey to unchartered territories, away from any Wireless@SG. Toilets, tunnels, bomb shelter, anywhere. Heck, I’ve two months to spend time with Max. I shall cherish my moments with Max. For he shall provide me with internet connectivity whenever, wherever I want.
So tune in for another series of My Threesome Adventure featuring Haksmic, Nec and Max. Gawsh that sounds gay enough. Hah.

Adik-adik Zaman Sekarang.

Read the rest of this entry »

Need I say more.
Don’t we still remember Army Daze? The classic bestest comedy ever produced I guess, in 1996.
377A
October 18, 2007
Just found this interesting. The petition’s closed though. It’s about gathering signatures to repeal section 377A of the penal code. Ok, maybe the rest of the world knew it, I’m just slow. Hah.
What’s cute is that celebs did play a role in this. By coming up with the clip above. For the clueless ones, the excerpt below from the Singapore Statutes tells you what section 377A is about.
| Unnatural offences. 377. Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animals, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 10 years, and shall also be liable to fine. Explanation.Penetration is sufficient to constitute the carnal intercourse necessary to the offence described in this section.
377A. Any male person who, in public or private, commits, or abets the commission of, or procures or attempts to procure the commission by any male person of, any act of gross indecency with another male person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years. |
There you have it, repeal377A.
