Surprise, surprise.
December 21, 2007
Ok wait wait, lemme get this straight.

First, it’s Britney, bitch! Who wants you to gimme more sex, drugs and rock and roll food. Plus you got me crazy~ with her lil vagina wanting to get some media attention too. And the shaved head, and then the marrying of her dancer, and ouh gawd, the list goes on.
So what now? 16 year old Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant?? Seriously what the fuck?

Look at her, that innocent-looking demure girl who we always see in Nickelodeon, now all grown-up, and getting hooked to a guy who gets her pregnant YET still coming home before her curfews. Awh, ain’t she adorable.
But then again, it’s either another stunt to get media attention, or, she’s not a girl, already. She’ll prolly be singing “Oops! I did it again, I fucked a white guy, got myself preggie, ooh baby, baby”. Our horny young girls (well theres that Vanessa Hudgens guys we remembered), brought to you fresh by, Nickelodeon; the channel for kids with raging hormones.
Ooh. Deja Vu.
December 18, 2007

I think I remember a year back, when Hady was crowned Singapore Idol, and this entry actually got the most hit. And then fast forward to a year later, when Hady is reigned the first Asian Idol, it got alot of hits, yet again.
And the funny thing is, they think that I am Hady, when my header shouts out loud, “Hi, my name is Hak!”. So as you can see, normally my visitorship is rather, low. Yesterday it steeped up drastically. It was a deja vu.
And an Asian Idol is Born.
December 17, 2007
So our very own home-grown Singapore idol, is the first Asian Idol.
It came as a shock to everyone I guess, knowing that the names the judges kept calling out is Mike from Indonesia, Mau from Philippines and Jac from M’sia. However, they kinda forget the fact that, eventually, it’s not the judges comments that counts, but the millions of voters SMS-ing. And looking at this, it’s for sure that Singapore have a high chance of winning. It’s the kind of stategy, survivor-style.
And as I have forecasted last night, there’s sure to be an uproar across all media in the six countries. Just read the tonnes of comments written in this entry. And the point in this kinda active volcano entries; always just read the comments, have a laugh at their English whatsoever that you find amusing, BUT never ever get involved in it. Cuz once you made comments in them, you’re sucked in to this whole whirlpool of sharp hurting comments spewing all across.
Well anyways, 3 cheers for our own Asian Idol. Woots woots.

Wacom Bamboo is Mine. [Edited]
December 16, 2007
I came in second, and I got myself a Wacom nonetheless. Haha. Had to do it within an hour, and this was what I came up with the day before. Click on them to see a larger view, in deviantArt. Haha
Pretty much contented. I didn’t have to fork out a hefty three hundred buckeroos to get it. Santa has been kind this Christmas. I got myself a Samsung T10, equipped with a bluetooth headset, NUM shirt, and now Wacom Bamboo, like, half a year supply of hair dyes courtesy of Hoyu, and vouchers from Far East Level One. Now that’s like hell lot more awesome gifts I get than my birthday, like pathetically true?

It’s the end of year, I’m no longer working, thus I’m freaken broke. Ouh gawsh. The graphic designer who supervised me during my internship period has a collection of Trexi. This is random, but I’m thinking of having a collection of vinyl toys, Trexi, Bearbrick, Tofu etc. That is, after I do a complete revamp of my room. Well let’s see; zen-ish tatami style? Modern minimalist look? Or loud flashy pop art feel? I’m soo loving pop art right now. It’s that kinda art, that’s awesomely unique, loud, and it will like just make you go, “oh.. wow”. Haha. It’s wacky; those striking extravagant colors.
It’s been a satisfying month I guess? Seeing the magazine going to print, then distributing them across the campus, and people reading it. It’s fucking lots of hard work, I can say that. I was like mentally poking this homosapien to death who was like talking to me about the magazine, giving that fucken arrogant face while saying “I saw the magazine, it was.. (and it ends there)”. I was like omg, the least u can say after all the shits I’ve to go through, is just to keep your freaken mouth shut and not giving me that kind of comments, on the launch day, right when I’m relieved everything’s all done.
See, the thing is, sometimes you gotta learn when to be spontaneously speaking the truth, and when not to. It’s easy to just open your mouth and blabber about things, rather than doing it. And sometimes, you’re overdoing it to a point that it really irritates the hell out of people? You don’t need to know everything to impress people. You’re not necessarily right, cuz face it, sometimes you’re not speaking from your own experiences, and that there’s a possibility that the person you’re talking to, knows better than you. You gotta learn that, dude.
Urgh. I just activated a bitch fit. Fark. Will not go on further.
Anyway, thanks Faddy for that flattering comment. =) hearts you. but i think i could have done something better, given a longer period of time. Haha.. I photomanipulate things now. haha.
Pictures above: First, Music in Motion. Second, Healthy Gaming. Click on them to see a larger size. Designed by yours truly. Prolly not one of my best works, cuz I joined in for the fun of it. Hah.
Virgin Brownies.
December 15, 2007

Me and Shan baked brownies last Thursday. She wanted to do something for Christmas, and decided to bake stuff. Since she doesnt have an oven at home, she ‘loaned’ my oven for the day. Hah.
Didn’t know it was that easy to do brownies. Initially we panicked cuz the chocolate mixture turned lumpy but all turned out well, and I was like dancing around the kitchen to chicken little’s song. Haha.
I drizzled chocolate syrup on top of it, just to make people drool.. Haha. My sis loved it and she kept asking for more. Woots. Thanks Shan, my F&N teacher for the day! LOL.
Joo r teh finalist! zomg.
December 13, 2007
Woooohooo.. Weeeehooooo!
I’m one of the finalist for the MusIT Fest design competition!! Zomg!
*Robotic-dancing around the room listening to Rihanna’s Umbrella*
And the scary part for the last battle, I will be designing, with the audience knowing whatever I do! Cuz our screens will be projected “live” via plasma teevees!
*Stops the robot dance, goes to the corner of the room, then trembling spastically*
Faints.
Singapore 2010
December 11, 2007
Know nuts about Singapore 2010? Okay, I thought I’m the one who’s not been in the know of things like this. The SEA Games going on right now, wooh, and now it seems everyone’s talking about Singapore’s standing in the games.
Well anyways, about Singapore 2010.
Singapore is one of the candidate city for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games. We’re already shortlisted as the top 5 countries who will be vying for the chance to host the first Youth Olympic Games in 2010 and guess what, the recent update shows that we are second behind Moscow. Just SECOND. And this means that we have a high chance of hosting YOG 2010.
Won’t we feel proud about having Youth Olympic right here in Singapore, in 2010? Support the bid.
Bon Appetit.
December 11, 2007

Me and my dad teamed up last night to cook up dinner. It was awesome. The menu for the night?
Potato salad, caesar salad, sauteed asparagus, aglio olio and grilled salmon. It was like, go italiano for us last night. Hah. Now my stomach’s grumbling for more potato salad.

Our own modified Xmas tree that’s gona be there not for long. Can’t wait for tomorrow. Cuz it’s when the magazines will finally be making their way here in the ‘clubhouse’. Ooh.. Hah, you can see the few presents below the “Xmas tree” and bottles of our shit Newater. And I can’t wait for launch day itself. It’s sooo gona be cute. Haha.

Yea, i know i’ve not been updating. It’s just tiring at the end of the day, everyday.
