I came in second, and I got myself a Wacom nonetheless. Haha. Had to do it within an hour, and this was what I came up with the day before. Click on them to see a larger view, in deviantArt. Haha

Pretty much contented. I didn’t have to fork out a hefty three hundred buckeroos to get it. Santa has been kind this Christmas. I got myself a Samsung T10, equipped with a bluetooth headset, NUM shirt, and now Wacom Bamboo, like, half a year supply of hair dyes courtesy of Hoyu, and vouchers from Far East Level One. Now that’s like hell lot more awesome gifts I get than my birthday, like pathetically true?

It’s the end of year, I’m no longer working, thus I’m freaken broke. Ouh gawsh. The graphic designer who supervised me during my internship period has a collection of Trexi. This is random, but I’m thinking of having a collection of vinyl toys, Trexi, Bearbrick, Tofu etc. That is, after I do a complete revamp of my room. Well let’s see; zen-ish tatami style? Modern minimalist look? Or loud flashy pop art feel? I’m soo loving pop art right now. It’s that kinda art, that’s awesomely unique, loud, and it will like just make you go, “oh.. wow”. Haha. It’s wacky; those striking extravagant colors.

It’s been a satisfying month I guess? Seeing the magazine going to print, then distributing them across the campus, and people reading it. It’s fucking lots of hard work, I can say that. I was like mentally poking this homosapien to death who was like talking to me about the magazine, giving that fucken arrogant face while saying “I saw the magazine, it was.. (and it ends there)”. I was like omg, the least u can say after all the shits I’ve to go through, is just to keep your freaken mouth shut and not giving me that kind of comments, on the launch day, right when I’m relieved everything’s all done.

See, the thing is, sometimes you gotta learn when to be spontaneously speaking the truth, and when not to. It’s easy to just open your mouth and blabber about things, rather than doing it. And sometimes, you’re overdoing it to a point that it really irritates the hell out of people? You don’t need to know everything to impress people. You’re not necessarily right, cuz face it, sometimes you’re not speaking from your own experiences, and that there’s a possibility that the person you’re talking to, knows better than you. You gotta learn that, dude.

Urgh. I just activated a bitch fit. Fark. Will not go on further.

Anyway, thanks Faddy for that flattering comment. =) hearts you. but i think i could have done something better, given a longer period of time. Haha.. I photomanipulate things now. haha.

Oh god oh god. You know sometimes you’re doing some stuff and you just can’t stop doing it unless it’s done? Yah, guess what. The time is 12.53am. I’m in Singapore Polytechnic, in front of the laptop, laying out the fashion spread. It’s freaking midnight and I’m stillin school!! omg omg? Not that I’m complainin’ but once I’m stuck into doing something, it’s just damn freaken hard to stop?

It’s like some sort of drugs that keep me going on and on. Urgh. And as much as I loveeee to show you the fantabulously cute spread I did up so far, I’ve to keep you guys in suspense, till 12th December. Hah. All I can show you guys is pretty much a blurred up version of the lead-in page. Muahahaha. Oops!

Argh. Okae, I should just continue tomorrow. Haha. But dang! Now the problem is getting out of school without torchlight plus all lights in the school is off. What have I got myself into now. *faints* Workaholic me.

Art.

November 7, 2007

It somehow looked surreal, leaving you in a hypnotic state. It catches your attention, and you’re glued to watching it. You then begin to observe, without a blink of an eye. You admire the beauty.

The beauty of art.

Play!

June 16, 2007

It’s been quite a week for the GaX team. That is why, pardon me if I was online from Monday to Friday but appearing busy. It’s really been the peak period as it’s the time of the month yet again, rushing for deadline, to be sent for printing.

There were times when the whole office was dead silent, except for the clacking of the computer keyboards. And there were those times when Sweet Child O’ Mine was being played repeatedly at Medium difficulty. But then again, the guitars were sent back already, sad sobbing us. Have to rely on keyboards plus Frets on Fire now. Guitar Heroes pwns jamming session anitime. Haha.

And others a time, we get free entertainment.

Yeah, what readers do just to get tickets for Play! A Video Game Symphony in conjunction with the Singapore Arts Festival. Read the rest of this entry »

The World Out There.

May 20, 2007

Disclaimer: All text no pictures. Due to unforeseen circumstances, writer doesn’t wish to upload any pictures as he finds it irrelevant. And partly because writer’s friend have not emailed him the images took over the course of the day and that writer did not snap photos for the day.

Well, today, was like a change from the usual routine job that I have to attend to every weekdays (and tell me, how am I gonna face the workforce). It wasn’t something of the usual out to town for a walk just because town is the only place to be kinda thing. I ended my day today, saying to myself, “Hey, there’s more to life than just eating, sleeping and watching television”.

My day started with a meet up with 4 other web loggers of mine (well, maybe three plus a newfound friend). Eddy, Sha, Faddy and anonymous. Since Eddy’s workplace was having some kind of open house, we decided to drop by for a little tour around and to pass him his belated birthday presz.

I’ve got to admit, I was being such a suagu/ jakun/ mountain tortoise when he brought us around sharing with us a lil bit of history here and there. Cool or what? It wasn’t the first time I met Eddy up as he was the one who provided us with tix to the then Singapore Idol. And it certainly wasn’t the first time I met Faddy, cuz she’s my best girl (space) friend. I bumped onto Unc Sha once but we were going separate ways, so didn’t really had a chance to talk to him, and anonymous, haha, a newfound friend whose life’s so exciting can. Haha. I was all ears when she shared with us her stories. Read the rest of this entry »
